It's been a busy year for us at Fair Play Publishing.
We've published eight books in 2021 during an extended Covid lockdown, taking our total to 26 books on football that wouldn't have existed without us.
In addition to the eight books, we've also had time for some exciting new developments.
While really good football books under the banner of Fair Play Publishing will always be our heritage and our first love, the Fair Play Publishing Group is also diversifying into two more imprints, with the introduction of:
- Popcorn Press for our really good novels. (This has always existed but we are now publishing only fiction under Popcorn Press). Four new fiction authors will join Texi Smith in 2022 in having their first novel published - watch out for the first one, The End of the Game, by Michael Fiddian in March.
- Pepper Press for really good books on Life. We launch Pepper Press with three authors with diverse books on personal growth, a migrant story, and love and loss. Watch out for the first one, When A Soulmate Says No, by Amanda Trenfield in May.
We're also pleased to introduce a Fair Play Gift e-Card. If you're not sure which book to buy or you've been too busy to get anything, we'll always have a Gift Card available for purchase in the amount of $10, $25, $50 or $100.
With all of this, it goes without saying almost, that we also have a new-look website. We invite you to take a look around, and check out some of our old and new features, and let us know your thoughts.
In the meantime, stay tuned for our final two books for 2021 to be on their way to those who have pre-ordered. 100 Years of Football at Wynnum has already left the building, so to speak, and will be with you soon.
We're anticipating getting Portraits in Football out within the next week, in time for Christmas.
And on that note, a reminder that if you don't order your Christmas books by Friday 10th December for us to post the next day, Australia Post has told us that you will not have it in time for Christmas.
